Unavoidably there comes a time when business or travel plans require you to be apart from your dog. Or sometimes you just want a break. The great news is that Lucy’s Leads home from home dog boarding service is on hand to look after your furry friend. We will maintain your dogs usual home routine, plus all the other Lucy’s Leads benefits! We ensure all of our dogs recieve the love, attention and walks they need whilst you’re away. We ensure that your dog is returned to you happy and well exercised.
We’ve got the training and expertise to allow you to enjoy yourself knowing that your pet will be in reliable hands with Lucy’s Leads Cardiff. If you have any particular necessities for your dog, then please do let us know beforehand as we always aim to please!

Around our stimulating, structured pack walks, the dogs enjoy downtime in our home, cuddles on the sofa, ball-time and games in the garden with enjoyable chews and toys in the house.

With Lucy’s Leads your dog will be given individual care, their regular routine and requirements maintained and all your instructions followed. They’ll get to go on lots of walks, have their preferred toys with them and receive their usual food and even bowls. You’ll be able to prepare them a bag with some of their favourite items and treats so they feel right at home and as comfortable as possible.

Your pooch will be given constant human company. It’s the complete opposite environment of most kennels where some dogs can become withdrawn and anxious. We’re passionate about animal care and has numerous professional qualifications and years of experience under their belts.

We also offer additional free services while your furry friend is staying with us! We will begin training for a loose lead walk, boundaries and thresholds are maintained or taught. Our goal is for all our dogs to learn to socialize in a neutral manner, where all dogs of all shapes and sizes can feel comfortable and at home. We teach calmness, patience and manners. These free services come naturally to us and will help improve your pets happiness, provide structure and teach them invaluable life lessons during their stay.

By choosing to use our home boarding services we will guarantee that your furry baby will be given regular interaction, basic training, neutral social time with other dogs and a loving human to snuggle into on the sofa. We will be your dogs best friend in no time at all!
Secure and comfortable travel.
At Lucy’s Leads, your dogs travel in a bespoke van in their own individual crate between the walks. We ensure your pooch has everything they require to remain comfortable and relaxed during the journey. Certain dogs can be somewhat apprehensive about travelling in vehicles, and for this purpose, we take measures to introduce them to the van in a calm manner and encourage them to relax once inside.
