Dog Walking Cardiff.
At Lucy’s Leads, we pride ourselves on providing you with a friendly, trustworthy and professional dog walking service in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Handling every dog as if they are our own, we give the love, training and attention they require and deserve on their daily walks.
The Walk.
We currently don’t have availability in the pack.
However, join the waiting list for the new intake.
In order to keep structure and dynamics within the packs, 2 walks a week are required at a minimum.
Maximum of 6 dogs per handler
Monday-Friday no one-off walks – Weekend subject to availability.
This includes pick-up’s & drop-off’s ?
Your dog will be taken on an hour-long walk with additional dogs both on lead and off lead (where previously discussed). Their walk will consist of playtime, exercise and training in locations throughout Cardiff chosen for their suitability to the specific needs of each pack.
Through our years of experience, we have developed our in-depth style of dog walking. We offer structured pack walking, where we like to incorporate core behavioural practices such as loose lead walking, recall, calmness and dog manners. Whilst at the same time ensuring each dog has an enjoyable time.
Travel time is covered in the price but is not deducted from the hour’s walk, guaranteeing your dog receives the entire hour outside. Between walks, your dog will be travel in comfort, relaxing in our fully-adapted van.
All dogs receive fresh water and treats during the walk.
Your dog will be cleaned and towel dried after muddy walks where necessary before returning home.

More than a dog walker
Experienced Dog Handlers.
We want to make sure that each dog understands what yes, no and good mean. Having clear and consistent communication enables us to really reach every dog’s full potential.
Consistent Service.
We are experienced, reputable and trustworthy Cardiff-based dog walkers. You can always rely on Lucy’s Lead’s to provide a consistent and dependable routine. Your pup will always be given a refreshing bowl of water, towel cleaned and returned home for a much-needed nap.
Lead Walking.
When we have a new-comer, we will dedicate time seeing that they walk alongside us on a lead and don’t pull. This helps them develop their social skills when walking with a pack and ensures they stay with the group and not pull ahead. Depending on your pup, we also have long leads available for walks.
While You’re at Work.
By having a regular dog walker, you can relax while working knowing that your pooch will be getting the physical exercise and attention they need. Depending on your schedule, we can arrange one or two walks a day. Our team of experienced walkers understand how to make the dog walking experience a fun one.
Specially Adapted Transport.
At Lucy’s Leads, your dogs travel in a specially adapted van in their own personal crate between the walks. We make sure your pooch has everything they need to stay comfortable and relaxed throughout the journey. Some dogs can be slightly apprehensive about travelling in vehicles, and for this reason, we take steps to introduce them to the van in a calm manner and help them to relax once inside.
Tailored Walks.
Every dog is different and comes with their own unique personality traits. We tailor every walk to suit your dog, and take them to some amazing locations such as woodlands, the beach, rivers and mountains.
Some of our favourite Cardiff walks are Garth Mountain, Radyr Meadows and a secret spot near Font-y-Gary.
