Meet & Greet
Before we introduce a newcomer to the pack, we recommend arranging a Meet & Greet session. During this time you can see if Lucy’s Leads is the right fit for your pup and while we get to know a bit more about them and how’d they’d fit in with us.
This is also a great way to learn about their unique personality, likes, and dislikes. We can also answer any questions you have about our Cardiff doggy day care services, pack walks or home
The information gained from this session will help us provide a tailored service.
* These sessions would typically take place in your home or at an agreed location to enable us to assess your dog.
Settling-In Session
This is a settling in phase where we slowly introduce your dog to a pack specifically chosen based on their particular needs and compatibility. The reason for this approach is to ensure your pooch isn’t overwhelmed and to help keep a harmonious group and maintain the ‘pack vibe’.
We will take your furry friend out on adventures along dog-friendly routes. We provide structured pack walks and a controlled environment regardless the setting, to enable all dogs to feel comfortable. These interactions can be huge steps towards them developing into better, more confident dogs.
Structured Pack Walking
We’ll pick up, safely transport and walk your dog in Cardiff – ensuring they get all the benefits of mental stimulation, regular exercise and controlled socialisation with other pooches. After we’re done, we ensure your furry friend is cleaned before returning them home.
The pack is chosen by a carefully thought over selection process, meaning your dog is being exercised with other compatible and similar dogs.
Your pup will receive the basic training it requires during walks to ensure they’re well behaved in the pack . However, for more advanced training a serparate session will have to be booked.
* There can be a waiting period for pack walking depending on demand

Home Boarding
Home from home boarding
It’s not just you that deserves a holiday… Treat your pooch to its own vacation with our dog boarding Cardiff service. It’s the perfect solution for occasions you’re away and can’t take your dog.
They will be treated as part of the pack and recieve the company, mental stimulation and attention they need while you’re away.
Before boarding, we will review your dog’s requirements and routine with you. If they have a favourite toy or exercise, let us know and we can incorporate this into walks and their stay and with us.

We have a range of services designed with you in mind and to cover all the basic essentials you need to care for your new best friend!
Specially Adapted Transport
The Lucys Leads Cardiff dog van provides your dog with their own personal and secure crate. Always ventilated which ensures the dog’s get plenty of fresh air and the vehicle remains cool. Every cage is fitted out with it’s own bedding so your pup can remain relaxed and comfortable.
We clean and disinfect the van after every walk using Parvo Virucide – killing any germs. We’ve even removed the panelling from the from of the van to maintain communication and contact throughout the journey.
Towels, fresh water and canine first aid kits are also kept on board too!
